For the next 10 days, you're going to be studying the Beatitudes, Jesus' famous opening words from His Sermon on the Mount. While these proverb-like principles may be widely-known, they're not easy to digest. 

This study is meant to stretch us. Jesus' words were both comforting and challenging. They call us to simultaneously stand firm and walk humbly through this life. They flip the script on what it really means to be blessed. 

We encourage you to wrestle with each of the Beatitudes. Don't just read them - think about what these promises mean to you. Allow them to shift your perspective in the middle of your struggles. Process them in prayer. Whether you're reading this from the mountain top or the valley, there are blessings surrounding you today. Our prayer is that we all would begin to recognize the blessings this world often overlooks.
